We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team for an overnight shift (Monday through Friday, 10PM to 6AM). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT infrastructure, network security, and system administration, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting‑edge networking projects, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our enterprise network infrastructure. Duties
Design, implement, and support WAN & LAN networks, and telecommunication systems utilizing Cisco routers, switches, Juniper equipment, and other network hardware. Manage and configure network security devices including Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs (IPsec), and SDLC protocols to safeguard organizational assets. Maintain and optimize network protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, BGP/MPLS VPNs to ensure efficient routing and high availability across global networks. Administer and support network infrastructure components including SAN storage solutions and VMware vSphere environments. Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and SolarWinds to identify and mitigate potential threats. Automate network management tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash shell scripting, PowerShell, Ansible for configuration management and deployment. Lead projects involving network installation and upgrades while adhering to ITIL best practices within an Agile SDLC framework. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security measures to protect against cyber threats in cloud environments and on‑premises networks. Required Skills
DoD 8570 - IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) Top Secret Clearance is required to start, must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Minimum of Seven (7) years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer system/network engineering. Experience with Cisco routers and Catalysts switches Company Background
