Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol Specialist

As an Armed Retail Patrol Specialist you will patrol retail locations, deter incidents, provide outstanding customer service, and support retail staff while carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as required.

$22.00 / Hour Schedule:
Day Time (Thu 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM – 04:30 PM, Sun 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
What You’ll Do
Provide customer service and carry out security procedures, responding to emergencies.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter.
Respond to incidents in a calm, problem‑solving manner and document actions taken.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances/exits to deter unauthorized entry.
Collaborate with retail staff to address security concerns and support a secure environment.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, or property damage.
Follow all company, client, and legal requirements for firearm use while on duty.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of security‑related experience.
3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
Armed guard card or license.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Level III armed certification for Texas roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and industry‑specific security training.
