ScanScape is hiring a permanent part‑time Retail Scan Associate in Eden Prairie, MN. Your role involves visiting a selection of local stores every week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data you collect is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of products and retailers.
Typical workweek: 5–9 hours, depending on store size and project requirements. You will be required to scan barcodes and provide quantity for about 45% of the products on each visit.
Responsibilities
Visit assigned grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
Use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.
Complete Display Scanning, which occurs every week and can take several hours.
Perform Custom Projects as requested by clients, which add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work on top of Display Scanning.
Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain high quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Work independently across multiple stores and locations.
Benefits

Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
Ability to endure long periods on your feet while accessing products throughout the store.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Must be a deadline‑driven self‑starter.
Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
Must be tech‑savvy.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
