This is a permanent part‑time role estimating any number of hours per week, for all stores, depending on store size and project requirements.
ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer.
Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Route Store Type: Grocery – GOLDSBORO NC 27534 – Monday or Tuesday
Convenience – GOLDSBORO NC 27534 – Sunday through Thursday
Convenience – GOLDSBORO NC 27534 – Sunday through Thursday
Convenience – GOLDSBORO NC 27530 – Sunday through Thursday
Responsibilities
Perform in‑store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
Use a downloadable app on mobile phone to scan barcodes in multiple locations throughout each store.
Provide quantity for about 45% of the products scanned.
Report to store within the described deadline.
Complete Display Scanning on the entire store each week, which can take several hours.
Participate in Custom Projects for specific product details, which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week.
Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high‑quality data.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
Endurance to be on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
Capability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Self‑starter who is deadline‑driven.
Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
Tech savvy.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
