Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management
College of Business & Technology at Georgia College & State University invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty member to teach entrepreneurship and strategic management beginning August 2026.
Responsibilities
Teach face‑to‑face undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management.
Full‑time instructional load teaching in areas of expertise within the academic discipline.
Regular course meetings and instruction.
Other teaching responsibilities, including core curriculum and foundation courses for majors and non‑majors.
Contribute to topical freshman (GC1Y) or sophomore seminar (GC2Y) courses.
Educational Requirements
Ph.D. or DBA (terminal degree) in management from a regionally accredited institution, with emphasis in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management at the time of appointment.
Must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements stated in C.S. 3.7.1 (faculty credentials).
Required Experience
One to three years of experience teaching entrepreneurship and/or strategic management face‑to‑face at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Experience managing startup or entrepreneurial organizations.
Instructor of record for college‑level classes in the related discipline.
Record of scholarly activity, publications, or creative works.
Evidence of methodological innovation and creative teaching strategies.
