We are looking for a dedicated Custodial Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Your responsibilities will include providing a safe and clean space for all staff and visitors. This is a full‑time hourly position with a salary of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Working hours are 6:00 PM–2:00 AM. The role may require assistance at other Vogel locations (Main, North, and Redbird).

Our mission focuses on serving young children from homeless and domestic‑abuse shelters, offering a nurturing environment for growth and development. We support both children and their parents through a two‑generation approach, providing resources and education that help families move toward a brighter future.
What You’ll Do
Cleaning & sanitizing: Vacuum, spot‑clean carpets, dust, mop floors, clean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture, fixtures, display cases, restrooms, and kitchens.
Maintenance & supplies: Remove trash and recycling, replace liners, refill restroom supplies, maintain the janitor closet, and handle equipment such as high‑speed buffers, wet vacuums, and carpet extractors.
Safety & security: Ensure the facility is secure by closing doors and windows, turning on night lights, and activating the alarm system at the end of the day.
What Will Make You Successful In This Role (Skills)
Detail‑oriented & conscientious: Follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
Teamwork & reliability: Work cooperatively with others, be willing to work occasional overtime, flexible hours, and adapt to schedule changes.
Physical stamina: Perform manual tasks, including strenuous walking, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working alone and on ladders.
Driver’s License: Possess a valid Class C driver’s license.
