You will design adaptive workshops, examine live student performance data, and work alongside engineers to create literacy tools that extend your influence to hundreds of learners.

This position merges direct student interaction with forward-thinking program design, allowing you to shape individual reading journeys while constructing a system that scales foundational literacy across multiple school sites.

What You Will Be Doing

Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension

Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lifelong appreciation for reading

Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve your methods and extract actionable insights

Working with the engineering team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy tools

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree accompanied by advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience facilitating small‑group reading interventions for early elementary students

Capable of evaluating reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑packaged curricula

Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interactions within those tools

Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship

Able to work on‑site at one of our campus locations: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
