– Clinic Office Coordinator (MCP) role.

Job Description Summary MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina providing healthcare to patients within the rural health network across the state of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

Provides direct line management and leadership for all patient care areas.

Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and acts as the interface between support services and clinical services.

Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including staffing and professional delivery of services.

Manages daily operations of clinical and clerical employees, including staffing schedules, maintaining an efficient and professional work environment.

Develops and sets goals at process, job, and interface levels to ensure optimal patient care in order to meet overall organizational goals.

Minimum Education and Experience

A high school diploma and three years experience or training within specific work area; or an Associate’s degree with one year of experience; or a Bachelor's degree and six months–one year experience. Experience in a medical capacity preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform job functions while standing and sitting, walking, climbing stairs, work from elevated areas, confined spaces, kneeling positions, bending, twisting, squatting, manipulating fingers and hands.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; lift and lower objects 50 lbs. from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted; lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.; exert up to 50 lbs. of force for certain tasks.

Regular vision and hearing acuity (corrected). Gross and fine motor skills. Stress management. Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, latex safe environment, respirator use.
