Clinical Scheduler (MCP)
Position: Clinical Scheduler (MCP) – Employer: MUSC Health (Medical University of South Carolina), within the entity MUSC Community Physicians.
Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Clinical Scheduler performs patient scheduling functions and checkout duties in addition to higher-level responsibilities such as transaction editing system (TES) duties, medical coding, lead responsibilities, and financial coordination.

Handle higher‑level work including TES duties, medical coding, lead responsibilities, financial coordination, etc.

High School Degree or Equivalent – 1 year of work experience.

Physical Requirements
Stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, work in confined/cramped spaces, kneel, bend, twist at the waist, squat, use fingers and hands for gross and fine motor tasks.
Reach overhead and in all directions; lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders; maintain at least 20‑40 vision (corrected) and hearing acuity; recognize colors, depth perception, and object distance.
Work rotating shifts, overtime as required, and in a latex‑safe environment.
