Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Work-Life Balance: Flexible full-time schedules, Monday to Friday with start times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. No nights or weekends. Innovative technology: Utilize a user-friendly, two-way EMR system that reduces charting time.
Base Pay Range $105,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Job Requirements
Active Florida Nurse Practitioner License (unencumbered).
Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Strong clinical background in Infectious disease.
Geriatric or adult medicine experience preferred, with focus on skilled nursing, long-term care, hospice, palliative care, or similar settings.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with elderly and chronically ill patients and their families.
Ability to meet a minimum of 12 patient visits per day, with bonuses for surpassing this target.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Plan benefit structures is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and evaluate changes in patient conditions.
Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
Develop patient care policies and facilitate referrals to specialists.
Coordinate advanced care planning and discharge visits.
Ensure timely communication and documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
Support the physician-patient relationship and address gaps in care.
