Windsor El Camino Care Center is hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD). Salary range: $99,890-$110,240 per year.
About the Role As the Registered Dietitian, you will assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient, advising the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on nutritional status, lab value interpretation, dietary intake, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall resident satisfaction. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess nutritional care of residents.
Advise clinical team on lab value interpretation, dietary intake, and therapeutic diets.
Provide input on food/drug interactions and overall resident satisfaction.
Collaborate with Administration to maintain nutritional standards.
Qualifications Must Have
Registered Dietitian License.
3–5 years experience in an acute or long‑term care environment.
Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal, state, local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long‑term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
Nice To Have
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
