Responsibilities As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center, advising the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on nutritional status, including lab‑value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role ensures optimal nutrition and maintains high care standards.
Qualifications – Must Have
Registered Dietitian License.
3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long‑term care environment.
Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal, state, local) concerning the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long‑term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
Nice to Have
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
