Join us at Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Centers for an exciting opportunity to work in our Kingsford facility located at 1225 Woodward Ave., Kingsford, MI 49802. This full‑time position offers a $7,500 New Hire Sign‑On Bonus (paid in quarterly payments over two years), competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Shifts Available We currently offer Full‑Time (FT), Part‑Time (PT), and PRN positions on all three shifts. You have the option to work either 8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts.
Registered Nurse (RN) Duties and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse, you will evaluate and care for patients in our Skilled Nursing Facility. Your role includes directing CNAs in daily resident care, maintaining patient comfort and safety, following departmental policies, and upholding our core values.
Provide excellent patient care.
Establish a compassionate environment by delivering emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Administer medications and other treatments.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
Promote patient independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
Resolve patient concerns and needs using multidisciplinary team strategies.
Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
Stay current on nursing education, training, and facility policy and procedure.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Valid identification.
Comfortable using a computer.
