A Day in the Life: What You Will Do
Empowerment & Personal Care: Providing respectful, hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as personal hygiene, grooming, and mealtime support.
Behavioral Support & Advocacy: Providing positive behavioral support, following person‑centered support plans, and assisting with de‑escalation.
Community & Integration: Acting as a bridge to the community—supporting individuals with transportation to appointments, hobbies, and helping them thrive in community‑based jobs.
Health & Wellness: Administering medications, assisting with mobility, and preparing nutritious meals.
What You Bring To The Table: Qualifications We believe in hiring for heart and training for skill. No professional experience is necessary.
What We Require: Must‑Haves
A compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude.
18 years old or older.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
A High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check.
What We Value: Ideal Candidate
Have you been an unpaid family caregiver for a loved one? We recognize those skills and will train you to become a Direct Support Professional.
Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a major plus.
Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, or behavioral support needs is highly valued.
