About the Role
Hope Rising is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Sonographer to provide limited obstetrical ultrasound scans and consultation services to women facing crisis pregnancy situations. This role is vital in delivering clinical care and emotional support in alignment with our mission and values.
Status:
part‑time, hourly, non‑exempt
Scheduled Hours:
Thursdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location:
7079‑A Taylorsville Rd., Huber Heights
Key Responsibilities Client Care
Perform pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment.
Explain medical consent forms and answer client questions.
Document and maintain client records accurately.
Provide health education and referrals for medical and community services.
Conduct follow‑up calls and review client records for completeness.
Medical Services & Operations
Implement physician orders under Nurse Manager supervision.
Ensure compliance with medical policies, CLIA, privacy practices, and infection control.
Maintain and disinfect medical equipment and exam rooms.
Manage medical supply inventory and clinic readiness.
Emergency Response
Follow protocols for emergencies and unusual ultrasound findings.
Continuing Education
Maintain active nursing license and CPR certification.
Obtain and maintain ultrasound certification as required.
Qualifications
Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
Preference for certified sonographers in OB scanning.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical documentation.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
