Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health - FT
Provide routine care, observe residents’ health, assist doctors, and communicate instructions to residents regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestyle changes.
Responsibilities
Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident.
Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner.
Report required condition changes and events to appropriate parties.
Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
Monitor infection control compliance.
Investigate and document accidents/incidents.
Record a resident’s medical history accurately.
Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side‑effects of medications, etc.
Monitor residents’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose residents' charts.
Assist ailing residents in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing, etc.
Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
