Ultrasound Technician – Lifepoint Health®
Schedule: PRN role, work on an as‑needed basis.
Overview
Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a healthcare delivery network spanning 29 states. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will provide quality ultrasound studies—including abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts exams—for interpretation by the radiologist.
Responsibilities
Receive patient, explain procedure, and ensure patient comfort.
Provide patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
Maintain equipment and supplies and organize work area.
Keep accurate records and assist with scheduling to keep patient flow smooth.

Qualifications
Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or radiology program.
One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
