Ultrasound Technician
Schedule: this is a PRN role that will work on an as‑needed basis.

How you’ll contribute An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role provides quality ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts exams for interpretation by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness. Additional responsibilities include:
Receives patient, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.

What we’re looking for
Education: Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or radiology program required.
Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
License/Certification: Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
