Job Description Position Title:
Production Associate (Utility)
Pay Rate:
Starting at $21.58/hour + shift differential; after successful completion of training and based on position, up to $25.60/hour + shift differential
Sign On Bonus:
$500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year, and an additional bonus at 2 years
Category/Shift:
Hourly full-time – 2nd Shift (also 3rd Shift). Plant operates 24/5. Must be open to both 2nd and 3rd shift, willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

Plant City Box, 2402 Police Center Drive, Plant City, FL 33566
Job Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and procedures
Assist single-facer and double-backer operators in preparing rolls for splices and order changes
Assist clean single facers when not in operation
Perform corrugator (wet/dry end) crew-member duties during break periods as needed
Work with associates to change corrugator flute rolls when required
Assist other crew members with daily machine cleaning
Assist on sheet line as needed when sheet orders are produced
Clear jam‑ups on the dry end and restore to running status
Maintain chop‑out carts at acceptable level for changeover/order change
Adjust COPAR to produce quality products
Produce correct load tags for upcoming orders
Perform quality checks per SPI's and record in QMS (dimensions, PINS, caliper, soaks, moisture)
Dispose all waste for every order
Proactively assist machine operators
Clean the dry end per weekly clean‑up tracker
Organize and manage WIP line to maximize storage
Communicate quality issues with crew if necessary
Be trained and able to perform all corrugator crew positions during vacation, call‑in, or other absences
Maintain a clean and organized work area – 6S
Empty all waste containers in corrugator department daily, including those in supervisor’s office
Receive, unload, and store corrugator raw materials in proper areas
Work effectively as a team member
Keep up with machine pace (order changes, outfeed lines, load tags)
Have productive shift change with incoming employees (communication)
Perform other duties assigned by supervision
Required Skills and Qualifications
Firsthand manufacturing/production work experience preferred
Corrugated industry experience preferred
Ability to identify quality defects and monitor production quality
Ability to work in demanding environment with minimal supervision
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math
Ability to accurately perform tasks after explanation and demonstration, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a team member
Punctuality, excellent work ethic, and a cheerful outlook
