Job Title

Management & Training Corporation , MTC Medical Texas Civil Commitment Center, Littlefield, Texas.
Pay $40 per hour with LPC, LMSW‑AP, or LCSW, plus $5,000 sign‑on bonus. $35 per hour with LPC‑A with clinical supervision, plus $5,000 sign‑on bonus.
Work Schedule Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Location MTC Medical Texas Civil Commitment Center, Littlefield, Texas.
What you'll do You will report administratively to the health services administrator and clinically to the psychiatrist. If you hold an LPC‑A, clinical supervision will be provided. You will be responsible for planning and implementing professional mental health services programs of a non‑medical nature in compliance with MTC Medical and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) directives.
Position Responsibilities
Develop and implement treatment and therapeutic programs for assigned clients.
Assume independent clinical responsibility for all clients, including crisis intervention techniques such as suicide prevention.
Conduct diagnosis and evaluation tests to determine needs, establish goals, and develop treatment plans; make referrals for assessment and treatment.
Provide direct casework services and individual and group counseling.
Prepare progress reports, provide treatment recommendations, and assist in developing statistical reports.
Maintain and monitor confidentiality of client files; audit files to ensure proper documentation.
Screen requests for non‑medical records and approve or disapprove responses per policy.
Attend scheduled staff meetings and promote communication among staff and clients.
Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences as required.
Maintain current CPR certification and perform CPR in emergencies.
Serve in rotation with other mental health providers for after‑hours and weekend client care, including on‑call rotation.
Promote positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when necessary.
Maintain accountability of clients and property; adhere to safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned within your capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, mental health, or related field.
License or certification as required by the state of Texas: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Advanced Practice Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW‑AP), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Computer skills desired; evaluative and counseling skills essential.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license in Texas with an acceptable driving record (unless waived by management).
