Lab Technician
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: $18 to $22 per hour (W2)
Duration: 12‑month contract
Job Responsibilities
Support development of new products for energy market applications, including electric vehicle technologies.
Conduct prototype testing and pilot line trials to guide material and construction decisions.
Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to perform experiments and evaluate test results.
Document observations and data in technical notebooks and assist with report preparation.
Operate laboratory and pilot line equipment, including coordinating routine equipment calibrations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment (private, public, government, or military).
Associate degree (2‑year technical degree) or higher from an accredited institution (Bachelor’s preferred).
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
