Job Description Stress Lab Technician supports the staff in the testing environments of the Stress Lab and outpatient Cardiology Services to include holter monitors, EKGs, and device clinic.
Skills and Abilities
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
Ability to read, write, and converse effectively in the English language
Demonstrates the ability to work with various clinical, non-clinical, machines and equipment that is used in the various cardiology areas the cardiac technician is assigned
Ability to use the various software programs in the cardiology areas
Ability to respond quickly and think clearly in high pressure scenarios to meet the needs of the patient and the unit assigned
Education / Certifications / Licenses / Degrees
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
Willing to take the certification(s) for cardiac testing including EKG certification
Experience
Previous EKG testing experience preferred
Previous experience with Stress Lab testing, equipment and cardiac medical device placement preferred
