New Grad RN Resident – Med Surg/General Surgery
Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a New Grad RN for the 3 West Tower General Surgery Unit. This year‑long residency offers direct nursing care, a personal success coach, complex skill development, and a supportive learning environment. Responsibilities
Participate in the residency core curriculum and individualized learning plan. Provide direct nursing care with a success coach. Establish and revise patient care priorities based on acuity, patient preference and resources. Respond to data indicating risk to patient health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document patient care in medical records. Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN). Current state licensure or pending licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross presented upon hire. New grad or less than one year RN work experience, or experienced RN moving from non‑inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Benefits
