Team Responsibilities Team members in the housekeeping department are responsible for attending to our facility with integrity and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission and values

Responsible for restocking restroom supplies and ensuring all cleaning supplies are stored properly

Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally makes minor repairs

Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces

Mix various cleaning agents

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean

Apply wax to coat floors and buff

Apply sealant to floors

Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants

Responsible for removing trash from facility

Other assignments as needed

Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills

Five years of industrial refrigeration experience

Requires the ability to make decisions and remain calm under high stress situations

Must be able to communicate with all level of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies

Education and / or Experience

Experience in Plant Housekeeping preferred

Knowledge / Skills

Excellent problem solving skills are required

High degree of attention to detail – Advanced

Excellent Communications skills as frequent communication is required – Advanced

Basic PC skills

Supervisory Responsibilities N/A.

Must have the ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices being exposed to temperatures (Hot and Cold) as well as exposure to different levels of noise

Must be able lift 40lbs or more on a regular basis

Must be able to bend, reach, stand squat, walk and climb stairs

Work environment is predominantly wet and exposed to a variety of odors as well as presenting with hot and cold temperatures. Ice box storage and chilled warehouse conditions may be present with moderate to extreme levels of noise. Safety protection is provided.
