Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Statesboro
Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Position Overview:
The BCBA position involves providing and supervising ABA therapy in both clinical and home-based settings. The BCBA will formulate and implement treatment plans, conduct regular parent training and collaborate with team members implementing treatment plans. The BCBA will assist in the creation of training materials for parents and staff and monitor client progress.
Essential Functions:
The BCBA’s essential function is to provide and supervise quality ABA therapy and services to clients while also serving as contact person between fellow team members, parents, other BCBAs and the Clinic Director for assigned clients.
Collaborate with, and mentor team of behavior technicians and BCBAs
Lead and supervise parent training in home, community and clinic settings
Conduct intake assessments and maintain treatment plans for assigned clients
Exercise judgment on best assessment tools to utilize in treatment planning for clients and develop well-rounded treatment programs
Assist with creation of training processes and materials
Assist in training and supervising of BT staff
Conduct functional assessments and create behavior plans that are generalizable to everyday environments
Maintain accurate and organized client notes, data and reports
Maintain positive working relationships with clients and caregivers
Attend required trainings and meetings with advanced notice
Review technician’s documentation and data collection and provide feedback as needed
Complete necessary documenting (i.e., supervision summaries, program updates, overlaps) following direct services hours
Maintain supervision schedule which includes assessments, overlaps, team meetings, parent updates, and parent trainings
Confer with members of ABA therapy staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment program
Prepare and conduct Staff Performance Reviews with HR and Director
Provide supervision to BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision Contract
Generate team spirit through creating and maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction, maximizes productivity and profitability
Job Requirements:
Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or special education
Minimum of 4 years providing ABA treatment to children
BCBA certified with ability to supervise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong administrative skills
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Physical ability to play with clients in the gym, bending down, squatting
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Must conduct themselves in a professional manner, and hold themselves to rigorous standards
Volunteer in community events in which CABS participates or after-hours CABS events for clients and/or their families
Must have reliable transportation to be able to drive between clients’ homes and community settings
Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Must pass a thorough background check
