This job contributes to Evolution Fresh success by driving tractors and yard hostlers to move trailers 53’ ft, flatbeds, bulk double citrus trailers and other material containers within the shipping yard, and between plant and off‑site facilities based on shipping schedules, order volume and other business requirements. Models and acts in accordance with Evolution Fresh guiding principles. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Moves trailers as needed within the yard to facilitate loading and unloading. Shuttles trailers to and from off‑site facilities based on business requirements. Driving local and short haul work. Performs routine safety pre/post trip inspection of yard hostler, tractors, and trailers, including safety checks, reefer temperature checks and fuelling, adhering to applicable regulations and procedures. Reports all maintenance and safety issues, concerns and conditions to shift lead or supervisor. Complete and maintain accurate driver logs per D.O.T rules and regulations. Coordinates with shipping, receiving and production supervisors and leads regarding workload requirements and needs. Understands and follows established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents. Maintains product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications, legality, and quality procedures. Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Evolution Fresh mission & values. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School/GED 2 years of experience driving commercial over‑the‑road tractor‑trailer combinations, including backing, hooking, and dropping trailers and performing routine inspections. Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Knowledge of D.O.T. rules and regulations. Maintain driver medical evaluation with DMV. Safe driving record, in accordance with established Evolution Fresh guidelines ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to follow verbal and written directions. Safety and quality focus while performing work duties. Ability to understand written policies and guidelines, specifications, and safety standards. Ability to work in accordance with safety, quality and sanitation standards, policies, and procedures. Available to work variable hours to support business needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with the GFSI certification schemes (i.e. BRC and/or SQF) PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:
