What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activities in and around the location to help deter potential issues.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed in response to incidents.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
