Location: Kansas City, Missouri (covers Kansas City, Nebraska, and Iowa)
We’re seeking a Regional Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager to cover a territory across Kansas City, Nebraska, and Iowa. This full‑time, field‑based role requires a proven sales professional who can build strong relationships and drive new business in the lighting industry.
Key Responsibilities
Make regular sales calls on electrical distributor partners and authorized agents to maintain and grow accounts.
Pursue incremental sales opportunities and increase product penetration.
Develop whole building project sales for new construction, renovations, and retrofits across commercial, industrial, and public‑sector markets.
Maintain a strong field presence with customer visits four days per week and overnight travel (2–3 nights weekly).
Provide market feedback and deliver presentations to contractors, agents, and decision makers.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of outside sales experience; lighting or electrical distribution preferred.
Demonstrated success in new business development with a hunter’s mentality.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with distributors, agents, contractors, and executives.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
