is seeking a dedicated, trauma-informed
Associate Clinician (ASW, AMFT, or APCC)
to join our outpatient mental health team. You’ll be supporting individuals who are justice‑involved, overcoming substance use, or navigating major life transitions.

Mental health care for justice‑involved and transition‑focused populations

Kindful Restoration , we specialize in trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care for individuals overcoming major life transitions—especially those reentering the community from incarceration or recovery. We believe in healing through kindness, structure, and human connection.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive individual and group therapy
Develop and implement client‑centered treatment and recovery plans
Collaborate with case managers, CHWs, and external partners for holistic care
Conduct mental health assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with DHCS standards
Support clients navigating reentry, housing instability, or substance use recovery
Participate in supervision and training, and contribute to a collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
Active California associate license:
ASW, AMFT, or APCC
Experience or strong interest in working with justice‑involved or high‑acuity populations
Familiarity with trauma‑informed care, CBT, MI, or recovery‑based models
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a community‑based setting
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
Strong documentation and organizational skills
