This role is an exciting opportunity for a licensed clinician to work collaboratively within Specialty Court programs, supporting recovery, reducing recidivism, and improving outcomes for court‑involved individuals.

Location:

Greenfield District Court and Orange District Court

Pay:

$80,704–$93,752

What You’ll Do As a Specialty Court Clinician, you will serve as a full member of the Specialty Court team and play a key role in assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care. Responsibilities include:

Conducting clinical screenings, psychosocial assessments, and treatment planning for Specialty Court participants Providing clinical consultation and recommendations aligned with Adult Treatment Court Best Practice Standards Supporting participant engagement, recovery, and success in collaboration with court partners Assisting with treatment placement decisions and referrals to community‑based providers Educating court team members on clinical perspectives and behavioral health considerations Participating in court team meetings, stakeholder meetings, and case reviews Maintaining timely documentation and data entry in accordance with DMH Forensic Services requirements Providing court testimony related to participant progress when required Remaining accessible to the court team during regular court hours

Who You Are A collaborative clinician who thrives in multidisciplinary team environments Comfortable balancing clinical judgment with court and system requirements Organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing competing priorities Committed to culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑oriented care

Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work (required) LICSW required (or license‑eligible within 6 months) Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability and willingness to travel locally for work

Preferred Experience 3–5 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Experience with co‑occurring mental health conditions Experience working with court‑involved or justice‑involved individuals Knowledge of evidence‑based and trauma‑informed treatment approaches Familiarity with recovery‑oriented systems of care and recidivism reduction
