Moog Inc. is seeking a Demand Manager located in Buffalo, NY to support our Fluid Controls Business Unit within the Space and Defense Group.
Reporting To Director, Operations
Work Schedule Onsite – Buffalo, NY. Typical hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon‑Fri.
Responsibilities
Direct and facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning process across the WNY Space division BU’s, translating complex program requirements into executable schedules, aligning demand with supply, and ensuring materials, capacity, and teams are ready to deliver on‑time, every time.
Create and implement standard tools, processes, and business rules for the space sector in WNY, maintaining alignment and accuracy of tools and processes across the WNY Space division.
Counsel and update General Manager, Business Development Manager, and Operations Director on developing sales, profit and operations issues including the evaluation and impact of alternative solutions.
Facilitate and represent the organization in Operations and Supply Planning meetings and provide direction to that end regarding forecast and demand related impact issues.
Assist Fluids BU sales team with the proposal and forecast process.
Develop 18‑month rolling revenue plans at various levels.
Analyze and evaluate individual and consolidated sales forecasts for risk/gaps, accuracy, trend development and production impact, providing timely and insightful intelligence to SDG Senior Management during all phases of the SIOP process.
Coordinate inter‑disciplinary forecast and production conflict resolution to maintain and or maximize customer satisfaction requirements and minimize negative production impact.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; a Bachelor’s of Science degree in a technical field plus 3 years of related business experience is also considered.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with demand, forecast and capacity planning.
Strong understanding of government contracting, program lifecycle management, and compliance requirements.
Minimum of three years of experience with an ERP system, MS Excel, and lean principles.
Minimum of 3 years of experience identifying and articulating trends that impact business forecasting.

Compensation Buffalo, NY $100,000.00–$150,000.00 Annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
