Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Specialist Capital One, a Fortune Magazine “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Campaign Specialist. The Capital One US Card Business is transforming Marketing Operations to be a catalyst, enabling business teams to achieve their goals through the adoption of journey orchestration and marketing automation capabilities supported by well‑managed delivery processes.

This exciting new role will be responsible for consulting with Strategy Leads to design journeys, build audiences, and test campaigns to ensure well‑managed deployments. The associate will have extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud – including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Intelligence Reports, and Data Extensions – and will leverage modern Martech and data capabilities to deliver high‑impact marketing programs.

Responsibilities

Partner with Marketing Strategy leads to design, streamline, and optimize SFMC journeys, including building and filtering audiences.

Design and execute cross‑channel SFMC journeys based on Marketer requirements.

Infuse best practices around dynamic email content, segmentation rules, and personalized campaigns.

Collaborate with MarTech leads for new capability development, platform integrations, and omni‑channel execution.

Evangelize transformation across the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Establish strong relationships across business, creative, data, operations, and MarTech partners to deliver efficient and effective campaigns.

Characteristics We’re Seeking

Expert subject‑matter knowledge of email marketing best practices and experience owning multi‑audience email campaigns on a global scale.

Proficiency with SQL, HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS for building dynamic, personalized campaigns and automations.

Strong analytical skills to combine data and qualitative insights into actionable journey strategies.

Technical troubleshooting and process improvement mindset.

Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, influencing stakeholders across the organization.

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Experience balancing marketing execution and transformation leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.

At least 2 years of experience planning, building, and analyzing marketing campaigns leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing & messaging tools.

Experience utilizing SQL queries to build target audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of journey orchestration experience in Financial Services or a regulated industry.

3+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hightouch, or other CDP and enterprise MAPs.

Experience working cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment, autonomously navigating ambiguity.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications: Administrator, Developer, Email Specialist.

Background in risk management and project management tools such as Workfront.
