Inside Sales Manager
Location: Remote
Reports to: Director of Inside Sales
Industry: Payments / Financial Technology
Role Overview Simpay is seeking a high-performing Inside Sales Manager (Player‑Coach) to lead, develop, and actively contribute to our inside sales team. This role is ideal for a proven sales representative in the payments space who thrives in fast‑paced environments, leads from the front, and consistently produces results while coaching others to do the same.
As a player‑coach, you will maintain a personal sales quota while managing and mentoring a team of inside sales representatives. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving sales execution, and building a strong, accountable sales culture aligned with Simpay’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals
Conduct regular call coaching, deal reviews, and performance feedback sessions
Set clear expectations, track KPIs, and hold team members accountable to results
Foster a high‑energy, competitive, and collaborative sales culture
Player Responsibilities
Carry and achieve an individual sales quota through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow‑up, and deal closing
Model best‑in‑class sales behaviors, messaging, and objection handling
Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate forecasts within CRM
Strategy & Execution
Partner with sales leadership to execute inside sales strategy and territory plans
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs and customer experience
Identify trends, skill gaps, and process improvement opportunities to increase conversion rates and efficiency
Recruiting & Team Growth
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ramping new inside sales talent
Assist in building scalable sales processes and playbooks as Simpay continues to grow
Qualifications & Experience
3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, SaaS, or a high‑velocity sales environment
1–3+ years of sales leadership or team‑lead experience, ideally in a player‑coach capacity
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas
Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain top performers
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and sales performance metrics
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
