About The Role This position leads

project-based fire protection sales

for a mechanical services organization with a

dedicated fire protection team supporting commercial and industrial projects . The Fire Protection Sales Project Manager is responsible for developing opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the full lifecycle of

fire sprinkler and special hazard projects .

The role works closely with internal engineering, estimating, project management, and field teams to deliver compliant, well-executed fire protection solutions across a wide range of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage sales opportunities for fire protection projects, including sprinkler and special hazard systems

Build and maintain relationships with owners, facility managers, general contractors, and design partners

Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to support accurate proposals and pricing

Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to develop competitive solutions

Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award and project handoff

Support change orders, scope clarifications, and ongoing client communication throughout the project lifecycle

Maintain working knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and industry best practices

Represent the fire protection team in meetings, walkthroughs, and presentations

Qualifications

Experience in fire protection sales, project sales, or construction-related business development

Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and life safety solutions

Exposure to special hazard systems strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
