Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
Advocate for patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Active RN license in the practicing state
BLS/ACLS certification as required by the facility
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
BSN degree
Experience in hospital, acute care, or specialty units
Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
Work Environment
Hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings
May require standing, lifting, and assisting patients
