We’re looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact patients' oral health. This fast‑paced position offers new challenges and opportunities every day.
Responsibilities
Assist the dental team in providing exceptional patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
Perform basic dental procedures under guidance of a licensed dentist.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately.
Qualifications
1–2 years of dental‑assisting experience or relevant education.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with dental software and technology is a plus.
Requirements Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.
Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit).
Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements.
Michigan: Initial evidence of X‑ray training certification; if not possessed, 8‑week period to submit upon hiring.
New Jersey: Proof of X‑ray training.
New York: Not applicable.
Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit).
Texas: CPR Certification and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) certification.
