Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) therapy to stable outpatient patients in the Dickinson, TX 77539 area.
This part‑time role offers flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful one‑on‑one patient care in a home setting. Nurses work independently while being supported by a clinical coordination team and specialty pharmacy partner to ensure safe, high‑quality infusion services.
Responsibilities
Administer IVIG and other specialty infusions in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
Perform pre-, intra-, and post‑infusion patient assessments and monitor for adverse reactions
Initiate and manage IV access, including peripheral IVs, PICCs, and implanted ports
Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medications, and home‑care best practices
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with clinical coordinators and pharmacy partners to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications Required
Active Texas RN license or compact multistate RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent IV infusion, home infusion, or acute care nursing experience
Strong IV skills, including vascular access and infusion pump operation
Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
Preferred
Prior IVIG or specialty infusion experience
Home infusion or outpatient infusion background
CRNI® or other infusion‑related certification
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $40.00 – $45.00 based on experience
Mileage reimbursement for all patient‑related travel
