$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
Recommend items for sale, including trade‑ups and companion items.
Assist with OTC products and guide customers to an aisle when possible.
Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
Maintain counters, shelves, and displays; keep aisles well merchandised.
Occasionally take inventory, price merchandise, and set up promotional displays.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
Assist with interior and exterior maintenance to keep the store clean and orderly.
Work with company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Attend training and complete required performance and professional licensing (PPLs) as requested by manager or corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 6 months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
