Position Summary
MinuteClinic, an industry-leading Fortune 10 health solutions company, seeks a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high‑quality, affordable care to community members. The role emphasizes holistic patient care, team collaboration, and a one store, one team mindset. As a float position in Tampa/Riverview, the candidate will work every other weekend and enjoy autonomy, flexibility, and supportive training tools.
Responsibilities
Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling for patients.
Perform routine examinations, diagnostic tests, and preventive screenings to ensure positive health outcomes.
Manage patient appointments, inventory, and administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic and verifying insurance.
Collaborate with the clinical care team to coordinate comprehensive care plans and encourage patient participation in wellness services.
Required Qualifications
Two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and a state licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
Fit test completion and respirator mask use when protocol requires.
Proficiency in Spanish or additional languages is preferred but not required.
Experience ordering and administering immunizations (COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and providing vaccine counseling.
Preferred Qualifications
Less than one year of work experience as a licensed provider is acceptable; prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred.
Epic electronic health record experience is preferred.
Education Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and a state license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Pay Range $41.85 – $90.13 per hour (base hourly rate) or an equivalent full‑time salary. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
