Cibola General Hospital, a 25‑bed Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a full‑time in‑house Registered Dietitian‑Diabetic Educator to join our team of compassionate caregivers.
Responsibilities
Promoting health and wellness through dietary management and nutrition education. Assessing patients' and clients' nutritional needs and developing appropriate diet plans. Providing individual and group counseling on nutritional practices. Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting nutritional plans accordingly. Educating the public on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into patient care plans. Conducting and analyzing food service operations within healthcare facilities. Participating in research projects related to nutrition and public health. Developing educational materials and programs related to nutrition. Ensuring compliance with nutrition regulations and standards. Requirements
State Specific Licensure/Certifications – Registered Dietician; Certified Dietary Manager preferred. Basic Education Requirement – Associate or Bachelor's Degree; commercially trained chef with knowledge of how to run a kitchen and plan meals preferred.
