Join our team! Aiken Technical College is recruiting Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructors to teach courses that may meet during the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools. Duties And Responsibilities Instruction including hands on practice and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus, and lesson plan development. Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for courses taught. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabi. Recommend adequate instructional materials for courses and submit for approval. Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned courses. Supervise student learning and academic progress. Minimum And Additional Requirements Associate's degree in a healthcare related field, three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility and a current certification as a CMA through the AAMA or RMA through the AMT required.
