DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will complete various tasks in the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment. You will install flooring, paint or varnish surfaces, fabricate metal products, and use journey‑level skills to perform carpentry and masonry work. In addition, you will plan assignments and conduct hands‑on training. As a lead worker, you will ensure efficient completion of tasks and compliance with all codes and regulations.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full‑time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
Hours may change based on operational needs
Overtime as needed
Free parking
No telework option
Salary: some cases may be non‑negotiable

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title)
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
Special Requirement
Possession of a valid Class C non‑commercial driver’s license
Other Requirements
Must meet the PA residency requirement
Must be able to perform essential job functions
Legal Requirements
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance
