Job Responsibilities Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.

Instruction including hands‑on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.

Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for the course taught.

Ensure that the course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.

Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for the course.

Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for the assigned course.

Supervision of students.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing as well as three (3) years of recent nursing practice and two (2) years of clinical experience in medical‑surgical nursing, obstetrics nursing, pediatric nursing, mental health, or long‑term care experience required. Master’s degree in Nursing will be required for applicants teaching transferable lecture courses. A current South Carolina Multi‑State (compact license) to practice as a registered nurse is required.
