Aiken Technical College is recruiting Electronics Engineering Adjunct Instructors to support our growing program. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) and to teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Job Responsibilities Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet during the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online.
Instruction including hands‑on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for the course taught.
Ensure that the course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
Recommend, for approval, adequate instructional materials for the course.
Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for the assigned course.
Supervision of students.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years of direct experience in the field with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline required.
