Position Overview We are seeking an On‑Site Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to students in PreK‑12 schools, helping them achieve developmental, educational, and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
Implement evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs.
Monitor and document students' progress toward goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote student participation and success in the classroom.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).
