Position Overview We are currently seeking an On‑Site Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Lacey, Washington. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing occupational therapy services to students in PreK–12 schools.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
Implement evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs.
Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff regarding strategies to promote student participation and success.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' education plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric OT.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).
