Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Join our team as an Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator at HCA Healthcare. The role is based at Rocky Mountain Surgery Center in Englewood, Colorado. Hourly Wage Estimate : $43.35 - $64.08 per hour.
Sign‑on bonus : $20,000 for experienced OR RN candidates (not eligible for internal candidates). Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit during the designated shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource to staff, and promotes the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality care. Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Implement strategies like employee rounding and hourly rounds to improve engagement. Recommend and implement staff training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs. Maintain inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Graduate from an accredited nursing school. Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. Active RN license (state requirement or compact). Valid BCLS certification upon employment – online certification not acceptable. ACLS as required by facility. CNOR certification preferred. Rocky Mountain Surgery Center performs over 450 procedures per month in general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, colon & rectal, esophageal disease, ophthalmology, and pathology.
