LHH is seeking a Program Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located south of the South Bend, Indiana area. In this newly created position, you will have the opportunity to manage brand new product launches as well as updates to existing products for the new model year. You will join a well-established team and will interface with multiple departments on a daily basis as you manage products throughout their lifecycle. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $100,000‑130,000 per year plus bonus and offers several medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

Responsibilities
Own and manage projects for new product development from initial creation through project execution and task completion
Collaborate with the sales and design teams for design reviews and partner with the supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing teams to manufacture the products
Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines and reporting progress weekly to leadership
Oversee and manage program budgets for each project and track project costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets
Drive successful program launches by coordinating deliverables and collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and prevent timeline delays
Verify and validate new designs and conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during the design and beginning stages of the manufacturing process
Coordinate with operations and management personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily tasks and then report on those activities
Perform initial and ongoing product performance reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Operations Management is highly preferred
Must have 3+ years of professional experience with program management and/or new product development involving the manufacturing of physical products (i.e. nothing involving software, services, programming, etc.)
Preference toward candidates from a highly regulated industry
Must possess the ability to read blueprints and CAD designs
Must possess strong analytical, trouble‑shooting, and problem‑solving skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross‑functional team
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
