Base pay range $20.96/hr - $30.41/hr
Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success we are adding an additional
Full-Time Retail Demand Planning Coordinator . While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, a lesser known fact is that beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus. Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 38,000-coworker strong organization would have.
Job Description This individual will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the implementation of the Retail Inventory Management system. This includes working with a variety of systems to implement and optimize the company’s ordering and replenishment system strategy as well as monitoring store inventory levels to maximize store and warehouse space, profitability, and to reduce costs. The primary responsibilities include, but are certainly not limited to:
Implement and refine the inventory management tool for the goal of providing additional cash flow and finding optimal inventory levels for stores
Analyze statistical data from orders, forecasts, sales, and inventory flow in order to draw meaningful conclusions about ordering system effectiveness
Understand how to interpret and manage items throughout their lifecycle from setup through deletion
Support regular ordering activities while working to develop new forecasting tools, seasonal forecasting, event forecasting, and promotional forecasting
Ensure timely completion of ordering processes vital to the success of existing stores, new stores, and rebuilds.
Collaborate with other internal departments, including our retail locations, about replenishment goals and opportunities
Qualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years similar experience in a business field
Knowledge of basic supply chain logistics
Working knowledge of replenishment systems or prior replenishment systems is a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient on 10 key calculators, office equipment, and Microsoft applications
Ability to prioritize daily tasks with or without specific deadlines
Organized, accurate, detail orientated, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Understand spoilage, shrink, and the impact on our business and replenishment system
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to work alone or in a team setting
Knowledge of PDI, AS400 is a plus
Work schedule:
Typically Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
