Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Personnel Management – manage daily on‑site attendance, screen, hire, train, and coach staff, develop schedules and assignments, handle performance issues, and promote harmony.

Financial Management – achieve net operating income goals, manage cost control, develop yearly budgets, reconcile deposits and vendor invoices, ensure accurate financial reporting.

Strategic Leasing Management – develop yearly marketing plan, implement leasing techniques, handle resident complaints, create retention programs, and manage move‑in processes.

Administrative & Maintenance Management – oversee accurate reporting, lead emergency response, manage customer service for maintenance requests, ensure timely repairs, coordinate property resources, and supervise maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree, 4‑year housing industry experience, or 1‑2 years related experience; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.

Basic computer and on‑site software proficiency.

Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

Regular communication with others, repetitive hand motions, and attention to detail; overtime, weekends, and night hours possible.

Standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving between work sites, ascending ladders or stairs, operating machinery, lifting up to 25 lb, and working in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, weather conditions).

License & Equipment

Reliable transportation required for emergency on‑call duties.

Compensation Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 per year. Total rewards include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, commissions and performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
